Ing. Isaac Teye Ayiku
Ing. Isaac Teye Ayiku is a Communication Engineering solutions expert, with 15 years of experience in the telecom industry, which includes ten (10) years in the Submarine Fibre Optic Systems and Internet Service Provisioning Sector. He is currently the Technical Manager of Dolphin Telecommunication Limited, Ghana – a wholesale Internet Service and Lease Circuit provider, globally headquartered in Dubai and locally in Dzorwulu, Accra.
He holds an Executive master’s in business administration (EMBA) from GIMPA, MSc. In Communication Engineering from Napier University, Edinburgh-Scotland UK; and a BSc. In Electrical/Electronic Engineering from KNUST.
In his quest to maintain professional excellence, enhance his technical abilities and improve upon his skill set, Ing. Ayiku has undertaken several courses both locally and internationally. These include but are not limited to courses in Subsea Telecommunications, NOC Operations, Project Management, Internet Protocols, ITIL, Data Centre Infrastructure and Leadership and Team Management.
Ing. Ayiku is a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineering and was a member of its Educational Subcommittee. He is currently a board member of GISPA, Ghana Domain Name Registry (GDNR) and President/Executive Secretary of the Association of Submarine Cable Operators of Ghana (ASCOG). He also belongs to committees and subcommittees within the telecommunication and submarine cable space.
Prior to his engagement with Dolphin, he had worked with ADROK, a Scottish-UK-based organization as a Research and Development Engineer, a role which has influenced him immensely, making him very analytical and critical of the effect of small changes.
He has also worked with the erstwhile Expresso Telecom, Ghana, as Head of Technical Support. He has worked with Regent University, Ghana as an Adjunct Lecturer, delivering practical and theoretical knowledge in communication engineering courses for over 5 years.
